Contraindications
We will always do our best to accommodate your needs and provide you with a relaxing, therapeutic treatment and we will happily adapt our treatments to do so. Unfortunately we will not be able to proceed with your treatment if you are currently experiencing any of the following conditions: contagious skin disorders, contagious illnesses such as flu or covid 19, some allergies especially to seaweed (please note we use ground walnut shell in many of our treatments so there may be trace elements of walnut shell in our treatment rooms despite thorough cleaning), pregnancy (unless booking a specific pregnancy treatment), if you have recently broken any bones, recently undergone surgery, suffered a recent hemorrhage, thrombosis, stroke, or heart attack. We strongly recommend you contact your GP or consultant prior to coming for a treatment if you suffer from epilepsy, diabetes, heart conditions, kidney conditions, liver conditions or are undergoing treatment for cancer. This list is not exhaustive so if you are unsure about any other condition please feel free to get in touch before your treatment to discuss your needs.
Pregnancy
Unfortunately, not all of our treatments are suitable for pregnancy. Therefore, we have created our Pregnancy Massage and Pregnancy Facial. Please do not book any treatment apart from these if you are pregnant. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
High Frequency
These contraindications are specific to high frequency: epilepsy, pregnancy, heart conditions, pacemaker, metal plates or pins, excessive fillings or bridgework, cancer within the last 2 years, thrombosis, diabetes, recent Botox or fillers (please wait at least two weeks) any condition that reduces sensation on the face, the recent use for retinol, roaccutane or acids, all jewellery will need to be removed for the treatment.
Microcurrent
These contraindications are specific to microcurrent: epilepsy, pregnancy, heart conditions, pacemaker, metal plates or pins, excessive fillings or bridgework, cancer within the last 2 years, thrombosis, diabetes, recent Botox or fillers (please wait at least two weeks) any condition that reduces sensation on the face, the recent use for retinol, roaccutane or acids, all jewellery will need to be removed for the treatment.
These contraindications are specific to LED: pregnancy, epilepsy, photosensitive eye conditions, active cancer within the last two years, photosensitive skin conditions, albinism, lupus, medications that cause sensitivity to light such as roaccutane, antibiotics, steroids etc, if you suffer from light induced headaches, claustrophobia

Hydrating Wrap
Due to the ongoing pandemic we have implemented measures to help keep both our customers and staff safe and well. We kindly ask you to wear a mask whilst visiting our stores and treatment rooms and to continue to wear your mask during your treatment if appropriate to do so. We will provide hand sanitizer for you to use on arrival and there will be hand washing facilities for you to use should you wish to. On arrival we will check your temperature, if it is high you will be asked to reschedule your appointment for a later date. We kindly request that you do not come for your appointment or into our stores if you are suffering from any of the symptoms of COVID-19 such as a new continuous cough, difficulty breathing, a high temperature or a change to your taste or smell, please contact us to let us know if you are unwell and we can reschedule your appointment. We are continuing to maintain thorough cleaning standards throughout our stores and treatment rooms and all our staff will be wearing appropriate PPE and will be following our COVID safe measures.
